R32 Skyline wheels on FC3S

Just bought a set, but they need tires.. Staggered setup. Would love some pictures posted up to keep the warm fuzzy feeling alive.. Bonus points for white cars... (not my car or wheels below: but great example)

They look to be GTS for front and GTR for the rear.

I will take better pictures when I get home..
What is the difference between the wheels (GTS /GTR) If I have a mixed set is the difference very noticeable or are these going to look mixmatched?

The gts wheels are 16x6.5. the gtr ones are forged 16x8. As far as I know the only way to get a staggered set was to mix and match between gts and gtr wheels.

My old setup:

Did you notice the different ways the spokes blend into the edges of the rim? If you can't see the difference with them the way they are now I wouldn't worry about any one else noticing. Should look great in white on your 10th AE. Although I wouldn't do it in just cause I would be out there every other day cleaning the brake dust off of it.

gtst are 16x6.5 +40s and the gtrs are 16x8 +30

took me a year to find these wheels, had them for 2 days, but now they are for sale...

this is just a pic testing how they would look on the car.

yes i know my fenders are brighter than the actual paint

Why on earth would anyone go out of their way to create a mix matched stagger setup that includes a wheel that is 6.5" wide. Especially when it would be easier to get a matched set that's 16x8 ? The stock t2 saw blades are 7" wide....

Can't really speak as to the reason for the mixmatched set.. BUT I don't follow your beef with it. You gain an extra inch of meat in the back, plus they look much better then some sawblades..

You do gain a little in the rear, and you lose a little in the front. Its like dumping your ugly girlfriend that puts out for an average looking one that doesn't. I mean its an upgrade...kinda.

My "beef" comes from the POV of performance. Since R32's either came with (4) 16x6.5 GTS or (4) 16x8 GTR, so someone went out of their way to turn what could have been an upgrade to both looks and performance into one mainly for looks.

I obviously agree that they are a big upgrade over saw blades

lol that is pretty similar!

Also the GTS-T wheels list the exact same tire size as the T2 wheels... Why is that?
[It was an upgrade for me anyway I went about it - came from phone dials XD hehe]

Not that I didnt like them, just not really wanting to use them right now.. I started refinishing my RS Reps and can't justify keeping them...

I've always liked those rims on an FC, they really fit in with the rest of the cars esthetics. You should keep them and try to find two more 16x8.
