sorry no good pictures its raining out, every one runs gts-t wheels in nz they are about 160usd over here for a set. really easy to find and really common.
i got mine for about 140usd
however the gtr wheels are a lot harder to find and way more expensive.

this is when i first got my car 3 years ago standard suspension gtst wheels turboII for around 3000usd

stagea wheels and gtr wheels on a white fc..

right..after a much drunken time in london im back, have sobered up and i have been to the garage and been playing dress-up with my fc =)
i wrote earlier that i got some wheels from a nissan stagea (basicly a nissan r34 family car with a gts motor) and i thought it was (vaguely) relevant enough to add it to this thread.

i had thoght it might work but imo it didnt. definately an improvement on the original wheels tho....
anyhoo..i still had the one gtr wheel so i popped that on too RRTEC did say bonus points for gtr rims on white cars so here ya go!

i was instantly sold and will be fervently trying to find a set. ive got some leads i just have to see if someone will get back to me..

@rx7freak13v i havent forgotten you ill pop over to my mates workplace and weigh the rim gtr next week.
heres the links down below for the pics in case they dont work i dont seem to be having much luck with getting them to be seen automaticly...

the stagea wheels are an improvement over stock, from the angle they actually look ok.
thanks for not forgetting about me, i can't wait to find out how much they weigh. a 16x8 forged wheel will be really nice. they just look so well under our fc's.

When you're on ImageShack, left-click the picture until you get its higher resolution form loaded. Then right click the picture and select "Open image in new tab," or whatever your browser says thats similar. That opens just that image, and then use that link for the IMG tags.

Thanks in advance for weighing the R32 GT-R wheel, that will be really good for us all to know.

being crushed by the weight of major disapointment as i write...

appropriate swearwords do not exist for this...
found an ad in stockholm (wow what are the odds!) for some gtr wheels (amazing! this kinda stuff never happens to me!). mailed the guy and got a reply that he still had them (yessss! theyre gna look so good on my fc!) and sat with anticipation all weekend till today to go meet him after work...

unfortunately...

dude had gts wheels wich were corroded and scratched to **** and all the caps were missing. PLUS the greedy so and so wanted 4000kr (576 usd) for them PLUS said that i would have to take the tyres of and return with them. i had thought to offer to do it for him anyway but people dont ask for much do they?

result: i have nothing, zip, doodah....

now i am having other considerations...( of course if i would stumble over a set in my seemingly endless searching on the net after work with my undersexed girlfriend looking on in disbelief, i would definately get some im totally sold on them but its proving really diificult and the leads i have are proving fruitless :losing hope which deviate a little too far from this thread and ive found no info in rx7club concerning this so ill be starting another thread..

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...3#post11144303

i just want my fc to look right....

put some 225/55/16s on em today after work and washed her for the first time since last year.. im really pleased with the result!! gna probably lower it about 10mm and fit some 15mm spacers all round. should clean up the look a bit. took some pics with my phone round the corner... not the best quality but...

im so glad i found this thread!!

Did you want the taller sidewalls? I think 225/50/16 would more closely match the oem size and make the speedometer more accurate.

@ DriftDreamzSS yeah man i saw that AmT_T had gone for the same size and i liked the look! problem with the s4 imo is that the sides of the wheels house are quite wide and with a 16 inch rim its a bit hard to fill it out without adding a bit of tyre.. as you can see its an n/a so i dont really bother looking at the speedometer. i know ill just be dissapointed. im quite content with the sound of my racing beat exhaust system and that i dont have those ugly original sawblade alloys any more! =P

@rx7freak13v thanks man im really pleased with the outcome! best thing is they cost me a left indicator from my r32 gtr which wont be used this year anyway..(very broken engine)

and as promised....

i took it to my buddies workplace cos i know they use this to weigh packages and stuff... a grand total of 17.60lbs!

oh by the way i put 5mm spacers each side at the back. tried to put on 10mm but i only got 3 turns on the wheel nut so i deemed it unsafe. thought this might help as general info for anyone else that puts these wheels on their s4 and wants spacers. ill probably be changing my pin bolts to longer ones cos i do think it needs 10mm (each side) at the back to get it looking "just right". of course it a matter of taste

they look nice under your white s4 Meerkst, and thank you for getting those beautiful things weighed in. 17.60 lbs isn't much for a forged rim. that puts them bout the same as the crown vic weighs (17.40 lbs each). i always wanted some starion wheels till i found out they are 19.6lbs each. not worth it lol. im building an na s4 car myself (fighting amongst myself between a bp or a pp) so i want the lighter weight wheels. i wonder how cheap i can snag a set (i know i can get some crown vic wheels for a about 250 or cheaper ) my ideal wheel would actualy be a 15x8 but can't seem to find a good looking one for under 300 bones a set that weigh in under 18 lbs each (mind you, again the lighter the better. stock bbs wheels weigh in at 12.6lbs each) anyhow thanks again Meerkat

yeah man i was lookin for crown vics in the beginning and i missed them by 2 days some other guy bought thembefore me. since then ive never seen any. the crown vics look so good as well. the only suggestion i can make is join some skyline and nissan owners forums cos to be honest, there are loads of people that have them but dont think that theyre worth anything. i know i didnt! i would at least put up a wanted post on those kinda sites and see if anyone gets back to you!

I got mine for $200 I noticed some of you mentioning my ride earlier. I currently installed 10mm spacers in the back to fix the little gap in the rear. If you are running anything over 5mm spacers you will need longer studs. Change them out next time you change the wheel bearings. to get longer studs in the hubs you will need to remove the hub. scrapping your bearings.
