Would have only taken 1 hour if we had a cherry picker (trans was already off)

wow, that doesn't look very safe to be under, lol. why not just buy a hoist? they're cheaper than you probably think. and some better jack stands...

I always find it funny when the one thing someone will compromise is their own safety. He'll learn some day. Lets hope it isn't the hard way.

he had a tII vert so im sure hes pulling the goodies to put into something else?

but yah that lift is nuts man. its only about $20 for proper jack stands.

why do you think i made the other people pull the engine ... i just sat there and supervised

the car was on cynder blocks and all the weight was on the rear .. the jack was basically only there for "a little help".

i sold it today so that was that now i get to deal with my new project.

Do the best you can with what you have. I luckily had a lift but we didn't even use cinder blocks. Frame was on the ground and we paid 25 bux to haul it away. Did you PAY or get paid?
