Pre and post-install coilover and wheel shots.

So I bought this FC as some of you already know, on a killer deal. Original owner thought the engine was blown and sold it to me for a fine, fine price.

Now, the car came with a set of 17x7.5s and GC coilovers/tokico blues on all 4 corners.

I yanked the original engine and dropped in my 3k mile streetported 13BT.

Last night I installed my Stance GRN+Pro coilovers and slapped on my 17x8/17x9 Volk Group AV's.

Here are the shots before and after.

BEFORE

AFTER

I'll have more daytime shots later....

and yes...my car needs a bath. lol...

Thanks!

It's obviously not 100% done yet. I'm still trying to get a few things ironed out like the dent in the rear drivers side quarter panel...

did you have to roll the fender fo rthe 17X9?
if not, do you think this is the widest you can go without rolling or going Widebody?

props for a sweet S4!

Nah....I have millimeters to spare, lol

I'd say that this would be the widest you can go on the stock rears. It's a 17x9 +35 with a 255/40 tire.

Nah...It's my best friends b-day. I promised her I'd take her to Monterey for that whole weekend.

Icemark and I are in planning for Rotary Fest in July though...roll up and crash out up here!

Wow you have some meaty tires!

Good job funk, i love my Stance Pros, and im sure you will love them too. But you wont really know how well those coilovers preform until you get the car aligned, suspension dialed and corner weighed. Then it just feels like an entirly different monster when the suspension works in harmony with the rest of the car.

Haha, If finances permit, I'll take you up on that offer.

I've had my GR+ Pros since January, and so far I'm loving everything about them!

You should! Either Icemark or I can put you up.

I've had the Stance coilovers since december and I had them on my old Gunmetal TII that I totalled. I love em!

Guys, this thread is over 3 years old...

Why bring it back, and why post pictures of your car randomly in an ancient thread?
