I picked up a GTUs and wanted to share pictures. I know they only made 100 of them and so pictures on the internet are scarce but I hope to see more pop up!
Such irrational anger over joe maddox for showing how to identify these models. It would be nice if this thread just stayed about the cars.
I have a bit of a fascination with rare fc models and appreciate these cars for their rarity. Not everyone is a fan because it lacks the turbo. However i also have a rare infini, 10th anniversary edition and a s5 turbo II. I dont need a turbo to appreciate rare.

Can I put a 16" tire sticker on a base model and put on hard suspensions, large brakes, TII seats, and short rear end and have the same car?
that would be a felony to tamper with those stickers. I wouldn't recommend it. It's the same as swapping vins, only asking for trouble. Best to just search for a legit GTUs. 👌
I noticed all threads on the club agree that it's the door jam vehicle information that proves a model is a GTUs so I don't think we need anyone's opinion to prove it. It is nice to have a registry list like the 10ae registry list that requires the proof we all agree on that proves its a GTUs.

A felony, really? What legislation is the basis for that comment making it an absolute?
I would suggest tampering with vehicle identification stickers or vin numbers. I think we are all in agreement on how to verify a GTUs. I only see people mention the vehicle identification stickers. I would love to see members GTUs pictures. It's a cool piece of Mazda rotary history!
The red one is for sale for fifteen thousand dollars. The mileage is a bit high but the condition is hard to come by now days. This black one however just sold for just under five thousand.
