The shift boot I sewed myself using some Burberry material. There's no heat ac or anything. Car is completely gutted just the seats dash etc

Not very close to finished, but it finally looks almost like a normal car inside.

Silly question that I may have asked before. But how much louder is your cars with a stripped interior? Is it bearable for a DD? Could I listen to music/have a conversation? My brother has a 99 Civic with a b18c swap and it's loud as **** inside even with a carpet(no sound deadening) but his exhaust is like 5 times louder than my rx7.

Mine is not bad. You can hold a conversation at a reasonable level while cruising. The noise level is the same with the windows up or down. I have solid mounts on everything so there is some clunking and drivetrain noise as well.

I have a v8 engine, dual 3 inch exhaust, with one muffler on each side. The car is not extremely loud, but you can hear me coming

So, While going over my interior I have found some glaring blems in the dash, and now that my rollcage is installed I don't want to take it out to replace it or flock it etc.. SO I am thinking about doing a bedliner covering instead. ANyone here dusted thier dash with Bedliner? Found this while google by myself yesterday.. My car is a track car so I am not going for concourse here..

lets bump this up. show me some creative ways to mount four 60mm gauges and still keep climate control. Here's how I got it. I am going for a cleaner look and dont want any gauges sticking out like that. The fourth gauge is behind the roll bar in the photo.
