@ eletor...I thought Aaron Cake made that strut tower bar...someone commercially marketed that?

They were made by CP Racing in the late 90s and early 2000s. The bars got the reputation of poor fit because they were jigged up very solid during assembly and had no adjustment, unlike the common multi-piece bars. As every car is bent in it's own unique way, some tweaking was needed in many cases to fit the bar. People saw this as a sign of poor quality instead of the exact bloody purpose of a strut bar.

I designed my own bar a few years ago and intended to market it, but economies of scale and made in China parts mean that I doubt I'd ever sell very many of them at $300 each.

It's pretty much done - the only thing missing from the engine bay is that one accessory drive belt. The front harness was tucked into the wheel well and all of the engine harness comes through the firewall right behind the engine. Also it needs new brake lines but they're going to be tucked as well

Did some cleaning and removed air pump, stock air box, and installed a cone filter today. Dual alt pulley on order.
