yea, after i took them off my other car these just look so dope on here...if the do come off it will ONLY be for yokohama super advan sa3r's. im pretty much doing a full time attack build. well, thats the plan anyways lol
Also, does anybody have experience with how much spacer can be used with stock wheel studs? Im sure i could break out a measuring tape and math it up. Im at work though and they frown upon such activities.
5mm spacer will work. 3mm is safer.. I'd go bolt on though, that's the safest route.
First of all, don't buy a spacer only because the wheels are 17x9, x8. what are the offsets. 17x9's and 17x8's have the potential to be flush depending on offsets. if your offsets are somewhere between +5 through +15 you do not NEED a spacer. any higher and you'll want to space them out though :X
if youre gonna buy bigger lips for those wheels, also consider the fact that it will:
1) lower the offset even more
and
2) depending on the size of lips, it might make your wheels poke since it will add width.
if the wheel you pictured is an 17x9 wheel, that offsets looks to be around 25-30ish...so a 10-15mm spacer would be perfect

Some of those guys running 11-12s.. et minus something .. i would venture to say have thrown that all outta wack lol. But damn does it look awesome..
Plus the cost of purchasing bigger lips starts to hurt in a hurry. Then how some people swear it's ok to reuse the bolts. Some say dont even think about it.. blah blah.. i gotta get a cage and a big single turbo first. Lol
I know it's not the greatest fitment, but the wheels came with the car and the powdercoating was free. Here is what I have.
Also, I apologize about the cell phone quality pictures.

Specs: MB Weapons/ A Tech Erasers
Front: 17x7.5 +40 ish
(245/40/17)
Rear: 17x8.5 +40 ish
(205/40/17)
Car is lowered on Stance GR's. Thinking about spacers for the front until I can afford the good set of wheels I want.
