Once i get my adapters & tires i will be fitting c5 corvette wheels on my fc & ill post them here for everyone! I've searched all around for any one rocking corvette wheels & all ive found was a Fc with BMW .

The wheel specs are Front 17x8.5", 58mm offset
Rear 18x9.5" 65mm offset ... The wheels were just sitting in my dads backyard & they are pretty mint so im gonna try them & if all fails ill just sell them

What do you guys think?

ummm..... Your welcome to prove me wrong.... but people have those same spec wheels in HALF of those offset numbers, and still have sunken wheels. Gonna need spacer/adapters of like +30 offsets.... Your wheel bearings are gonna hate you....

C5 Wheels are 5x120, and that offset is gonna drive you crazy. I doubt seriously you'll be able to fit the rear wheels without like a 4 inch spacer, simply because of how wide they are - I feel like they'd scrape your suspension.

The adapters are gonna be +30 so its gonna bring down the offset down slot

VW guys use the C4 wheels that are most often referred to as "Salad Shooters." They don't have nearly as high of an offset as the C5 wheels that you have listed...

Here's a picture of the "Salad Shooters"

18x9.5 +35, and 17x8.5 +28(adjusted offsets with 30mm spacers) doesn't sound tooooo terrible. I just test fitted a redrilled bmw wheel yesterday that was 18x9.5+20, and it was pretty sunken in. BUT that was because I have like 6-7* of camber in the rear(due to 17x9+0 wheels)

I could imagine with 0-1* of camber the 18x9.5+35 would fit great in the rear with the right tire.. as for the 17x8.5+28 front, that is going to fit perfectly

I don't think it would be that big of a deal, radio ran 50mm spacers on stock FD wheels no problem at all. some people are running negative offsets with no problems, so I don't think he should worry about that.

a 100mm spacer would make his wheels 18x9.5 -40 and 17x8.5 -42.. that would DEFINITELY cause problems hahaha

Give it a try if it is what you want. Just seems like such a huuuge excessive spacer. Go for it.

I agree, if I needed anything more than a 25mm spacer, I'd just get new wheels haha.

I was just saying it's do-able, because I've seen it done.

I know a place that sell spacers cheap as ****. they make them in house, so they aren't horrible quality. I got 2 bolt on 15mm spacers for $60 that's ~half project kics price

That's pretty neat. I've never seen the Wagon Wheels on a VW before. Not bad.

It's probably because I'm a boss. Just saying... Lmao

I pulled the fronts a little. What's your camber set at? I'm not maxed out yet either.
