lol for sure. I mean how the hell do you think I feel. I spent years making that original and then a mold and then finally get rid of a couple and never seen the thing finished and painted and mounted.

People keep asking me how I sell the stuff without pics of it mounted and running.

People dont understand is when I started this stuff I was much more motivated than I was funded. I did all of this work in my back yard or storage until working from check to check barely making it.

I also had an 86 base at the time that wasnt much worth really putting a bunch of body stuff on as the car would never back up what it had on the outside, then when I got my s5 vert it was way to pristine to be cutting into and testing parts on it.

Its a damn shame I have made all of this stuff and never actually got to use any of it myself. That will change shortly as my vert is under the knife finally. I have a widebody with a custom front end of mine and the ls1 already in just waiting for a tranny.

 

ps the white car is the original chopped pic i made of the kit before i ever made one. It was my concept photo I showed everyone on the board what I wanted to do. Everyone said it was awesome and that I would never make it. Lol. That was in '03.

And with the shots I am sold make me up a all white set. if you like it can wait till you get back from you trip... hell probly be best for bolth of us haha stupid cash.

Agreed. I plan on getting my rust colored 86 painted white, and would be interested in the white set.

i remember dltreezan had a build up thread on that very bumper and prototype pics of the headlights a while back. i mean a while back.

 

yeah it was a huge thread and the ******* mod deleted then entire three year long thread because there was info about selling ****. I will be doing another write up as I make this next back for Glass Machine and Ian and the other guy.

 

What size lights fit in your kit Dltreezan? It'd be interesting to see if halo lights would fit the mold correctly.

 

the original headlights that he sent me with my kit had halos on the high beams however i got rid of them to run all 4 projectors

 

Have any pics of the original halos? Sorry if I've missed it. Lot of stuff to dig through. This has been spread out over like 3 threads, lol.

Thinking of doing a pop up delete but don’t wanna go with the standard fog light setup everyone else does yk?

it looks like on evo-r they still have the sleek kit for sale. I’d call or email them before ordering to confirm though.
