Pic's of your non pop up light FC's

I bet this has gone around a 1000x's but I cant find one of the old ones haha so here we go for the 1001's time...

I am looking for some non pop up light but not the ones that you have to use that one body kit for. I see the ones I like now and then, but when I do find them I lose the link and I can never remember the name... So my hope is that someone has some shots of the ones I like haha and see what other kind of non pop up light are there.

Thanks guys have fun
Zane

The only ones I can think of that don't use a different bumper are the East Bear ones, but they're pretty rare from what I hear (I wouldn't know, since I hate them )

mine look just like the ones on the GP car but the lexan ends at the bumper so you dont have to cut it. I really need to do a write up.

Man I'd love to make some more but I am not going to make this into a sale thread, dont want to get it locked but I will tell you what I used to. I would sell a set for around $350 bucks, buy a set of Honda projector lights for the civics off of ebay for around 100 bucks. I would make the housings from a mold in fiberglass that I made. Takes about a day. Pull the fiberglass and then spend a day or so repairing any pinholes and priming and painting them. I have done a few in different colors before, primarily white.

Here is the main problem I was having. I was either going thru a ton of personal female related **** or I was flat *** broke, so as soon as someone paid for it up front I paid whatever bill was overdue or bought some food.

Now I make plenty of money and I am single but I still avoid selling anything though honestly I made some pretty cool ****.

If I had to turn any around I could do it in about two weeks considering I'd have to wait to get the lights off of ebay. The lights also plug into the stock harness and fit in the stock location without modifying the bumper.

The only way I will make a set is I have at least three buyers with only half up front. This will make it easier for me and keep me honest time wise, then when I am done I would take the rest in payment and then ship so I have some motivation to be quick. I also have my young cousin who is very interested in all of this and I am sure I can teach him how to do it.

Anyways no more discussion on buying, just PM me if interested and I will discuss price there.

As far as how I make them it is simple.

I used foam back paperboard from wal-mart with a razor blade and some hot glue with the lights out to make a form. I then fiberglassed it and sanded it smooth and rounded the corners out in the housing. I made a mold of course and from this mold I got my buckets now.

I cut the holes for the lights and bracket them in place with metal brackets from lowes with nuts and bolts and a few drill holes. I do the same to mount the lights to the chassis. Once all is set I silicone the **** out of the lights to try to keep them sealed.

I then get lexan from lowes, cut it, tape of to paint the inside, paint and remove tape. I put double sided tape on the housing to adhese the lenses and then use my grinder to match the edges of the lense with the housing.

After I do this I then clean it up a bit and silicone the gap between the lense and the housing and done.

the last guy that got a set was that three rotor tripoint vert guy from DC. He actually moved local. Attilla the Hun was the guy. I have sold a few of these and never seen them installed.

The next set I do I am going to eliminate the nasty metal brackets. I am going to use tape over the stock points and just glass over it and make a small easy mold and then glass the replicas to the housings with a plate in the back to mount the lights. I should have done that a LONG time ago.

another advantage of these is getting rid of the motors for the lights as well as saving on the weight of the lights themselves. I think both lights together weigh like 6 pounds including the box when I ship them.

What would be nice would be to cut a hole in the rad support and run the intake right behind the FTP under the headlight. Guaranteed extra five horse, easily.
