When I bought my vert, it had that same steering wheel (from the ifini fd), so I assume it should just bolt on.

Mostly.

The FC horn connection uses a metal ring, while the FD does not.

So to use a FD wheel, you need to trim the Steering Position sensor coupler bushing (down about a 1/4 inch) and glue a FC horn ring onto the back of the FD wheel, and then wire that horn ring to the FD horn switch in the wheel.

im Running GT40R and yer i think its just foam around the IC pipe's to stop it hitting th metal.

Good choice for a summer car I love my 88 vert its a friday driver always garaged, sits on 20s chrome ds05. Hope this will help you decide.
