Tried searching, no dice.

I remember reading here somewhere that someone cut the clock out of their idiot light cluster and replaced it with one or two small gauges. I was wondering if anyone here knows what I'm talking about and could provide some pictures or a writeup. I'm wondering how the person did it without destroying the circuit board and rendering the rest of the panel useless.

 

I've seen pictures of someone removing the clock and putting in a lambdia (or some **** , I dont got a turbo, I dunno how to spell it) guage. I think it's just a fancy word for a a/f mixture gauge
