NRG Quick Release questions....
So I'm a bit confused on what I need to get in order to complete my NRG quick release set up... I know that I need this: NRG Quick Release Kit
But what does that come with? Everything I need or do I also NEED to get this: Short Hub?
The part that confuses me is if there is already a hub that comes with the quick release kit or if I'd need to purchase the short hub separately in order to complete the setup.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Usage is mainly to deter theft, so I can remove the wheel and throw the lock on.

Thank you for all the help guys. Found an interesting kit on Amazon.com that I think I'm going to order. Sent in inquiry to the seller to see if he can change up the colors of the quick release but otherwise seems like a good deal and the wheel i probably mind driving with for a while.

got this reply from nrg:
NRG Short Quick Release = http://shop.vendio.com/crowderscusto...+Quick+Release

If you use the Short Quick Release with a Short Hub Adapter, you will need a Spacer Adapter (http://shop.vendio.com/crowderscusto...445/index.html) or (http://shop.vendio.com/crowderscusto...444/index.html)

it doesn't, the short hub term is what makes it confusing to most people. the short hub is actually the steering column gear adapter to bite onto the threads of the shaft and bolt to the steering gear with. the quick disconnects themselves are not car specific nor have a way to attach to the steering gear.
requires the short hub(seen as vehicle specific) plus whatever generation quick release chosen.

see the flanges at the base of all the quick releases that match up to the short hub?
http://www.getnrg.com/products/interior-products
the only one not visibly apparent is the thin version which i assume has either long allen bolts that go all the way through or have recessed holes inside it to slide the bolts down into.
i installed one recently on an FD and it required both the short hub and the quick release itself. the horn button is kind of cheesey though as they are universal and not car specific short hubs(the splines are car specific, the hubs themselves are all the same externally though). all it has is a brass faceplate under the short hub which requires a "hairpin mod" to attach the horn radius contact to.
you can bolt up some steering wheels directly to the short hub though and bypass the quick release completely.
perhaps they have a longer version of the "short hub" but they don't list it on that page nor have i seen it personally but Hypertek's release is longer than the short hub is.

Nah it is perfectly straight, just had the wheels turned in that pic years ago.
A spaced out steering wheel can feel pretty good too, when i had got my car, it had a spacer on it. http://i56.tinypic.com/9jj15k.jpg
But i wanted to get a feel for the car with standard distance first. A deep concaved steering wheel would be similar.

Guess I just gotta do the math and see which one is best.
Short hub + thin quick release + spacer = approx $300
Momo hub + thin quick release= approx 197
*think this is what hypertek has
Short hub + 2.5 = approx 270
Momo hub and thin quick release it is.
