So I spent some money on some new equipment. Velbon 530 Carbon Fiber tripod and a Nikon SB-600 speedlight flash. Both are amazing. I am such a newb at flash photography for now but am reading a butt load of information about bouncing light and reflecting for great shots. Here are some of just me messing around with the new flash. I am having a blast with it so far. More shots to come of course. Thanks for looking!

Very nice! Now you just have to get dynamic night shots with wireless off camera flash, just because you can.
