New gauges and carbon fiber pod installed
Here we have the CF dash pod from retro-spec, fresh out of its box.
Now, after cutting two 'roughly' 2inch holes with a dremel (there were supplied dimples for centering pods btw) I installed the Prosport Oil pressure and Oil Temperature gauges, also opted to use the supplied hoods.
And finally, installed with some night shots (sorry bout the blur)

Thanks, oddly enough I had JUST got done installing everything just as it got real dark out, though my hands were shaking when the flash was off so blur, might get new pics tomorrow night, the gauges are nice, full electric and with sending units, plugged into a re-speed pedestal adapter

Pod was around 200shipped, took a little while to get it, but I had nothing but time since I was waiting on other parts to arrive as well. I might still go back and put a few screws into it just to button it down tighter, but for now its living on my dash with 3M tape, taking up space with 'george' (the V1 in the glass).

Yea, my camera work is to be desired, but Ill have better shots tonight when the dark comes this way.
Funk-The only problems I have with the setup is that there is a small glare issue, as I can literally use both gauges as drivers mirrors during the day. The issue may be resolved with window tint however. And since the thickness isnt like you normally find with a pillar pod or similar things the U shaped fasteners dont leave you much room to thread the nuts to but it DOES go on and tightens down properly. I love the setup as its not killing my pillar trim, and still affords me a spot to mount a couple small LED's to monitor the activity of my Efan (in case the relay goes out again) and almost enough room to actually make some slots to use the pod's extra area as an acting demister vent to blow the hot/cold air towards the window/driver.
Flash-They used one layer of of fiberglass, a layer of CF, then the resin and clear. Its fairly thin looking, but since it is on top of the dash I wouldnt want it thick like a body panel.
Also the 3M double sided tape did not come with the product, you have to buy it separate, and even though my tape job is holding I am still going to get some small screw's to button it down a bit tighter to the top of my dash just for the sake of sanity.

Thanks, still need to get retro-spec's idiot cluster surround and one demister vent cover, then get a fibremaz stereo surround and shifter surround and I can call it quits with all the CF in my car. Only other pieces I would like in CF would be a radiator panel and maybe a CAS cover

Haha yeah, need to get a tri-pod, though its only blurry when I shut the flash off (which also shuts every other aid off), any other setting the camera is great for. I really need to also get a dash mount before my next dragon run, which hopefully is soon so I can get one run with my hoosiers to see just how nice they work on real roads and not a auto-cross parking lot course.
