Nephilim's 10th Anny Rebuild nightmare

So in April I bought my first RX-7 ever, a modified one at that. Appeared it was done right, then sold to this guy and he made a miss of it. I found cables unhooked, vac lines missing, stuff plugged in where it shouldn't have been. So to no surprise it did not start. Especially due to the fact that it was sitting for 8 years.

So I had/tried the following done:

Injectors cleaned (whitchhunter, great job)
new sparks and wires
tried to check for vac leaks
popping the clutch
atf in lead sparks

had to remove fuel tank and clean it out due to amount of crap in there, where I realized I would have to open the engine if the tank was that bad.

the car, plan on repainting it white

so took the engine out, what a miss it was.

then I took it apart (help from Atkins DVD, great video) , found out it was street ported, has 3mm apex seals, had carbon buildup on some seals. So got new sides, springs, seals, and gaskets and replaced everything.

So starting to put it all together. It had most of the emissions removed except the OMP so i went ahead a block that off.

in the pic below do I cap off the top nips as well as I did for the side ones that led to the OMP?
