I'm impressed with the detail they went to with the interior.

 

i am really impressed with the level of detail the game designers went with here. i'm not a driving game fan, but this does look pretty cool

 

I hate this game more and more, makes me want it and I don't even play video games...

 

I disagree. If they were really going for detail, since this is a S4, they would have included half a dozen broken trim pieces.

graphics are pretty but i dont expect much.. Im willing to bet the physics and controls will be dumbed- down for the masses. EA games *much like Codemasters* sells you on the attitude and presentation. I wish they would drop that whole "extreme racer attitude" and just give us a simple sim type presentation.

Need for speed is worse than madden, a new one comes out every year lol

i like all fcs but i want s5 tails :/ and the aero is gay. thats the one thing i hated about most of the NFS games is the gay aero.

All of that and it's only 447HP? LOL.......... No tuning perhaps ^_-? So maybe it should say "full programmable ECU with basic fuel map"

Also, Parkbench wing+drift car=stupid.. Ugh.. and the more "race" version has the FTPs cutout, again, stupid downgrade..

But I guess it's because people do that kind of crud IRL too.. >_<

I do agree on the [fairly] impressive interior detail.. But they did get the gauge needles wrong. [lol and yes all the corner vents should be completely broken XD]

 

I agree, I've never really been a fan of NFS, like you said, its to dumbed down. I really like to play Forza but with the FC in that game the widest tire size you can get is 225 and when you have a 600 hp 20b that just doesn't cut it...

 

There will always be issues with aero kits, and how ridiculous you can modify a car, along with how hard it is to put the power down, especially when it's full throttle or no throttle.

With that said I agree, with most the NFS is really dumbed down. When it comes to racing games, i think the sim style is the only way to go.

I am really happy to see the FC though, as it will drive more 'initial D' kind of people towards our cars.

The original Need for Speed was a sim, I had it for 3Do. Its gone downhill for years. Gran Turismo and Forza pretty much have the sim genre covered. FC's have always been in those titles.

 

from what I hear theyre making NFS shift 2 a full sim game. how true that is is yet to be determined but im gonna get it. if it sucks i take it back. simple as that. im just glad theres and fc in it. ugly aero and shitty fitment or not lol i just wanna see if they actually get away from that arcade racing feel that i hate so much! even if it sucks forza motorsport 4 will be out in the fall anyway haha
