need opinions
im a bought to by 2nd gen FC for 500 dollars. The engine needs a one new rotar and 2 new irons. it has an automatic transmission. I search up on swaps and it seems that the swap will cost me more than the car. I was wonderin if im gettin a good deal and if the automatic trans would be fine?? Thanks in advance

$500 is a good find. You will be spending some cash on the tranny and a rebuild. Rebuild and parts are going to run a bill on you. A used 5 speed trnny can be bought here for cheap, but the installation of a pedal and master/slave cylinders can be a pain. BUT, $500 is nice and you can make probably $3000 back if you part it out or more, depending on condition of parts. So, anyway you look at it, you can make money off this deal. I would advise buying it and either selling it for parts or finding another one to trade parts about to build one nice FC.
