My car has been running weird, when I try to give it a little more pedal the car doesnt boost and take off as it should it bogs down like it has no power. So yesterday I let the car idle while I got under it and put my hand at the end of the wastegate dump pipe, and it was letting,out alot of exhaust fumes. And its doing this at idle. So do I have a bad wastegate? I have more springs for the wastegate, should I put a new one in? Or is it just stuck and needs some attention?

probably just stuck. take it out, take it apart, hose the metal bitch with carb cleaner, and then reassemble.

 

It wasnt stuck open and.i made this video of it when I start the car the wastegate lets fumes out and if you place your hand at the opening you can feel the fumes flowing. But the wastgate stays shut as you can see... Did I assemble it wrong? What can it be?
