Any tips for trying to start this thing? It hasn't run in a few years. I've already got new plugs, I dropped a little ATF in each rotor housing, and I have jumper cables and a can of starting fluid. I plan on cranking it over for a while with the plugs out to move some oil around and relubricate everything, then put it back together and hope I have enough starting fluid.

I put some fresh fuel in the tank and did the process I described above. The car didn't start after about 30 minutes of alternated cranking. I know I'm getting spark from the trailing plugs, but i haven't checked the leading ones yet. I also haven't tried any starting fluid or checked fuel pressure. Hopefully I'll get to do all of that tomorrow.

Pulled the fuel line off that goes into the fuel filter and cranked the motor, nothing came out. Looks like a bad fuel pump to me. Time to drop $100 on a walbro, putting me $500 total into this car so far.

So far I've done plugs, air filter, fuel filter, and cleaned out all fuel lines and intake hoses. I have a fuel pump on the way, and I should be able to get the tank cleaned out this week. Am I missing anything?
Tires fo sho. 10+ year old tires could kill you. Seriously.
You need new high pressure fuel lines. That stuff will leak and you and or your car will go up in flames.
You need a new fuel pulsation dampner or at the very least remove it block it off (common mod).
You need all new coolent hoses. One of those 10 year old hoses will split after a couple dozen heat cycles.
Im sure there is more.

Btw, what is the air pump for? Can it be removed?
The air pump supplys air to the catalytic converter. You only need it is you still have a cat and need to pass an emissions test.
