just ordered my seat brackets from wedge last thursday =]
should be ready for pick up this week i hope.. i want my mazdaspeed seats in so BAD!! haha

see if you can tilt them a little bit if you got the same as mine, the knees part is the same height as stock but the seat sits a little flatter where the stock FC seat is on a slight angle.
I was going to give it to my upholstery guy over the winter but blew the project off

I bought them from a forum member, but last time I referred someone to him he said he does not sell them anymore
they are just "lloyd" mats, any custom website can order them, I just liked giving my business to a forum member. They are 40oz mats

hey i just mounted my seats and yeah i can notice right away its not the same.. its way to flat and sits a lot higher than stock... not really dinging the way the sit.. and to add to that the brackets i got from wedge dont even mount/line up perfectly.. driver side front right bolt is completely off by half an inch (ill take a pic later on) and the passenger back right bolt is off by a few mm's...
and i the driverside is about and inch lower than the passenger side =[ not happy with the install

the leg part itself is the same, its the *** part that is higher. It also takes some getting used to because the original seats had no padding left in them. After a few trips I have gotten used to it but again I already said I had wanted to try to get the *** part a little lower but did not bother this winter.
If you are really tall it could be a issue, the seat also has a tilt adjustment
Are you bolts off for the seat or for where the bracket mounts to the floor?
I just checked your thread, your seats are totally different then mine so I cant see how it relates to my install other then they both say Mazdaspeed?

and the drivers seatbelt is stuck in between the seat and the slot where it comes out of...but only in the one position that I like it in of course....I got them off ebay the guy was selling them for 499 plus 149 shipping so I made him a offer for 200+149 shipping and he rejected it...then a couple of days later he emailed me and said 300 but I had to pick them up from new jersey...so 2 tolls and a half of a tank and 1.5 hours later I had them...I wasnt going to let that pass!!!!now on to the install of the passenger side this weekend.

Those seats look awesome!
But if they are higher than the stock vert seats then my head would be through the roof. I am 5'11" and my head damn near touches the roof with the stock vert seats.
