They do look good in there Rob, and hell I'm not going to lie to you the first thing I said when I picked up my speed3 was "damn the 7 would look great with the seats and a 4/5 point harness in it" to the salesman.

now if I could just get a road test of them, we had some nasty storms heading our way this evening.
I think that a bar and harness might be on the list for this winter.

Looks great, the new seats and your steering wheel really update the look of your interior. :thumb:

I took it for a short drive a little while ago, they feel nice and you dont realize how shot your original seats are until you sit in the same car with different ones. The old seats had very little left in the cushion, almost like you were sitting on a hard surface versus now where you feel like you are in a seat, its almost too comfortable, lol

Now that they are in and you've driven in them - how does the height compare to the stock ones? I know it's a vert so hard to really tell, but how do they compare?

the drivers seat cushion is maybe 1/2 taller, but the passenger seat feels about the same.
Your butt is higher because it is padded, but im trying to go off the distance between my legs and the steering wheel .

For the price I paid for the seats and to have the brackets made I am pretty happy so far, even though I only took the one drive. One thing I do notice is you stayed very planted in the seat due to fact your not sitting in leather. At the local rotary meet night that I drove the car to the seats got a good reaction.

Nice. Do you have any pics where you can see the whole car? I'd like to see how they look in relation to the car as a whole.

Nice! Those look great in there. Thanks for the pic. I just wanted an idea of the proportions. Some seats in an FC just look wrong to me, but those work well.

the top wings are obviously a little wider then stock, but the overall width is the same, height of the seat itself is an nice or two higher, I give that to the headrest design, old headrests were flat across.

the gray photographs like ****, like that one piece near the center console up front, it really is not that far off from the rest of the gray, but it photographs like it came from a different car.

I have had 5 people already tell me the gray and black look good, if I find a whole car then I might go for it, but I aint scouring the earth to get all black bits

I don't really like the seats that much. They look to big or something. Just a personal preference. I love third gen seats

they are wider up by your shoulders, but the overall width of the seats are the same as FC, headrests are narrower then vert headrests.

it was time to change the car up a bit, too long with straight black seats, considered FD seats- hard to find clean and local, considered RX8 seats but
they are not that comfortable- these seats are really comfortable and you dont move at all in them.
