MO My New $350 FC Vert

I only paid $350. The car was $700 and a friend payed the other half but dropped out right after paying for it. He said i didnt owe him money.

actually the motor has been running very well i drove it about 20miles today. Ran good. All it needed was a fuel pump when i bought it. I pretty much only paid $350 for the car. Im not complaining. Ill have pictures of the shift boot i made to i just got in from putting it in.

That is a good deal. It would be cheaper to but a widebody kit off ebay. (200 or so than to actually fix the dent.

I would cut the rust out, por15 in there, weld a plate in the sideskirt area, then skim it with bondo.

Even ebay tops are 450 or so.....so that fix will be a little expensive. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda...spagenameZWDVW

Just drive the car first for a while to uncover any hidden issues to make sure you are not over your head.

I know it runs and ****, but it would be a good idea to check compression to know where you stand.

Dont know what your plans but if you do go the body kit and widebody fix, order them at the same time so you can save a lot on shipping.

good luck and have fun with the fc3c.

come on guys its not that bad, its a s5, looks like everything but that 1/4 panel is in decent shape, the hood appears to be in good shape too.

the 1/4 panel will suck though, would rather have needed a door then a 1/4.

I want to leave the body mostly stock.
Lower the car. New Brakes. Wheels
I want to drop in a TII engine.
Fix dents and holes what ever else needs to be fixed. New Paint
New top or create my own hard top but keep the targa top. (My dad has had experience in molding)
New seats. Steering Wheel. Different Short Shifter. Smooth out the dash. New Gauges

For $700, and really for you $350, the deal is great! I don't know why people are complaining. You could get that money back selling just the hood and tail lights!

But don't crush them, restore them

Check compression, change all the fluids and just fix it up one piece at a time.
