yeah thats a old vid of the first rebuild.

lucky 7 is doing a wholerebuild again. Turns out I had too much endplay and it flucked up my stationary gear bearings..Used the wrong spacer.Im getting my irons lapped and new rotor bearings and staionary gear bearings pressed in.. Lucky7 is doing everything this time, and it will work for sure..Fris is da man!

3rd time .. Ehh I dont believe in any such thing as a budget build anymore. You just cant reuse ****. It was quite a learning experience. Im lucky , my dad just got a good job and he said go get your car fixed, so its at Lucky 7.Lucky 7 got my engine to run, but they said itwasnt perfect, and wasnt running right. So they tore it down to check, and the bearings are all worn already from using the wrong spacer in the front assembly, needle bearing and plates were bad....So Im getting new bearings throughout, and the irons lapped. will keep update.

just came back from lucky 7 , and damn the front iron was worn and so were all the bearings all because of the endplay using the wrong spacer. snifff:....was soo close, just the endplay was too much.. Cant wait to see what it looks like when mazdatrix gives them a lap dance. Getting all new bearings and bearing plate spacers for the front

yeah im super thankful my dad is paying for it, he just got agood job and, he was getting sick of seeing me working on it myself and going nowhere. After the build is done Im going to baby this motor and break it in. Then when I have funds saved for paint materials ,will redo the cosmetics.

john Ny, where can I find that article?? this is quite suprising.

^^^Its in what used to be mazsport magazine. They have revampd the whole thing now into a quarterly "rotary speed AND mazsport" mag. My girl bought me a 2 year subscription for christmas.......I had never heard of it and thought mazsport was discontinued. NOPES. The tail end of your car is in a 7stock(def comin out next year) pic. I will scan it when i get back up to ny. Sorry for thread jack............back to build.....happy holidays all.
