VA My first autox (Video)

Went to an AutoX yesterday. First time in my FC and first time AutoXing. It was alot of fun and prolly the best 30 bucks I've ever spent on a sunday. I am going to another event in 2 weeks. My first run of the day was a 69. something and my fastest run was 58.2. I don't have any suspension mods. Just a rull racing beat exhaust, rtek 2.0, and an HKS intake. The fastest time of the day was a 46 something by a miata with some very sticky tires.

Any tips on getting a bit better rear traction. When I was doing the lane changes the rear end wanted to keep coming around. Was I going too fast or do I just need to get better rear tires (they are worn down, prolly just a little left to the wear bars)?

In-car video (Last run of the day). And I think the clicking is something in the camera.

best thing is get some good tires and an alignment, you can dial out the oversteer with a little toe in from the rear. i kind of like it when it steps out a bit. try the tires first and see how it reacts to the tires. that's the best investment right there, light rims and sticky tires. i recommend the bridgestone RE-01R's but they are discontinued. maybe the RE-11's

When you accidentally turned on you wipers, I jumped a little. That looked fun!

If the car is 100% stock you can still mess with alignment (toe and a little camber) and more importantly tire pressures. Don't make a common mistake and start tuning until you get the driving down though or you'll be running around in circles, lol.
