My FC build thread er something

This is the first FC I have owned and I'm new to rotarys. But luckly I know a lot of people here that are knowledgeable. We'll see how it goes.

Anyway. Here are some pictures...

I got the car with a **** load of stickers plastered all over the side and windshield. So the first order of business was to remove all of that junk.

The fan wasnt quite working properly for whatever reason. It was using a Greddy Multi Switching System to control the fan. So I ditched that and am running a different/more reliable set up. Now I just need to get all of those gauges working properly, put in a new speedo cable, perhaps a tune up, clean it all up nicely, get rid of unneeded electrolics ( that Multi Switching System and HKS Valve/Boost Controller ), get some the wiring mess cleaned up, get a new seat ( if anyone wants to trade, let me know what you have )

First on the upgrade list is a set of wheels. Not 100% sure what Im going with but I need some thing to fill in those freakin front fenders. Then Ill likely get a GP style kit, rear over fenders, and it'll be painted black when that is all said and done.

From what Ive read, there arent a lot of people on here that like the "drift style" but that what the car is going to be built for so thats what it will most likely be. I've been drifting for about 5 or so years and Im coming from a 240sx. Had to sell that thing to get some things paid... PICS!!

I decided after driving my buddy Slava's car that my next project would be an FC. THEN I was informed of a deal that I couldn't pass up. So opportunity rang, and I answered. Pick up the FC for $3k and I'm happy with it so far. Just hope it doesnt break on me.

Sweet! That color I find disturbingly likable.

And good move coming from 240's to FC's, although that s13 does look pretty sweet.

I like wide front fenders, it really makes the FC look cool more aggressive. I hope you plan on painting the BN body kit after you slap it on.

Going with a GP style kit.

And the car WILL be painted. I think the car will come together nicely with a new kit a rear overfenders, and better wheels.

Need to sell some stuff I dont need from the car and hopefully get some wheels soon... I cant stand what its on now.

Just get some wide low offset wheels after the rear over fenders and you will have a mean looking FC. Do your homework on FC offsets, they are way different than Nissans.

Honestly I really dont know exactly what brackets are on there... Its on sliders but I want to change the seat anyway... Im ever so slightly too big for that seat.

So chances are Ill either trade/sell it and get another Momo Start ( I loved that seat )

Some really cheap, probably heavy knock off!! For now at least. Ill save for some better ones later. When I can justify spending ~2k on wheels

Felt a bit ambitious so I decided to strip out the rear part of the car. The previous owner had some subs and amps and a **** load of speaker wire back there. So I'll probably start getting all that wire out today...

Midway

Doneish

Excess

The front is going to stay pretty much how it is. Im not gonna strip everything like i did on my 240.
