my Fc arrived today!!!

hey everybody, just bought my first rx7. its and 87 GX NA with a blown engine. I plan to rebuild this spring. the paint is mint and the tires and rims are brand new..can't wait to start!!!

Nope, probably a GX. Canadian models are GX (base), GXL, Turbo 2.

But yeah, I've never seen an engine bay that dusty before.

Good luck on the build, though be wary of any modifications the prev. owner performed...such as the throttlebody mod that seems to have been performed on that NA.

the owner told me that he hasn't done any mods to the engine. The engine is from a 86 GX that he also owned. He did the swap about 4 years ago and right after the swap the engine died. The car has been sitting ever since.

I finally had some time this month to work on the car after a long winter of work and moving this spring. I now have my own garage and could set it up just the way i like it. Here's what i've got done in the past week.

I had to leave for work right before canada day. I wont be able to work on the car for about a month. I would really like to port it as well. I'd like to remove all the emissions crap and have a clean engine bay. I only got as far as the last picture because i need to remove the flywheel and counterweight and didn't have time to find the tools while at home.
