yeah aluminum or fiberglass is going to be the ideal selling material because if I were to buy one I would want nothing less, carbon fiber is a possibility but it would be wildly expensive and out of the scope for most individuals such as myself. My only concern is after the time is spent and a suitable frame is established, then might come doing an interior part with it which might be another stepping stone to pass at a later time.

for me, I only want it to seal really well. Weather it's got an interior part or not. lol

But, I understand what you mean.

yeah the sealing system for the top where it connects to the windshield and where the windows seal up should be simple and have many ideas for it but as for how to get it to seal in the back is causing me some problems, I almost though about latches which would lock going down over the studs that you put your boot on over the top with its down and then a strong seals system in between each one if that makes sense. I just gotta look at more convertible hard tops and see how they do it, to be honest i've never actually dealt many other convertibles outside the rx-7 since no one really buys them all that often in jersey.

hmmm yeah, I never thought about the back. We have alot here in SC, but I'm not very good with large fabrications. If I catch anything interesting, I'll let you know.

Hey Brink, are you going to be at the SC meet next month? I'd love to see your vert in person. I'll be there.

Here's mine...

I don't know anything about a meet next month. When are where is it at? I'd love to go.

Btw, that's a nice vert man! I like everything except the lights lol, that and it's S4. I don't like the S4 frontend. I'm also a huge fan of flip-ups. The updated light setup is a good idea, but I would get HID then another set in the grille. Still nicely done man.

Look in the SE forum. We post monthly meet schedules there.

I do have HIDs in the low beams, actually.

Thanks for the compliments!

The lights are cool, I like the aftermarket seats, did you buy new seat brackets or have to modify the existing ones?

Those ***** are awesome looking on the FC. I wish I knew how good they sounded compared to my 40 series. I'd switch up if they sounded really mean and not like 2 ricers.

Make a youtube vid for us 'shika805.

Agreed I would like to hear the sound as well and if they are that brand then they are not cheap at all so I would assume they sound amazing

^yeah they came close to my suspension but still fit fine... not taking my car to the track anytime soon, i was thinking that i needed some 10mm spacers but i was amazed that they road fine. As for the tires in the rear, had to do a little stretch to fit within stock fenders (and had a slight roll on them), for the fronts didnt have to do anything.

here is the pics of my exhaust as i promised...

will try to create a video sometime so you guys can hear my exhaust set up.
