Talking Legit Maaco paint job

yes i did it i went to maaco and got the expensive package from maaco total came out to 2370. so this wat ur car would look if u spend a good amount of money at maaco. ill post pics tomorrow seeing how i got no camera batteries and its dark now. only complant i have is that they were a bit lazy wit covering my taillights and turn signals, also theres i would say 2 little things i found rong ima go tomorrow to fix. iether then that all good no running of the paint no scratches not bad. but do think its more of a 2000 dollar job not 2300 haha

Thats actually pretty good, except for the mistakes. For 2 g's it should be a mint paint job.

I can't say that I would pay 2000$ for that it is a basic white paint job. I took my car to Earl Scheib. It was done in less than 24 hours and it only cost me $480. With a little wet sanding it will be just as nice, but I dont plan on doing it cuz its just my toy car

the car looks good in the pics...but my only complaint would be...

a $2000 paint job the LEAST they should of done is remove all lights and moldings! I mean that is BASIC....I have a Earl Sheib paint job on my SE that the previous owner...and it looks exactly how a Earl Sheib paint looks like. Its CRAP. They barely masked it and my muffler is all over sprayed etc. I mean what do I expect?

But for 2K....man I would of demanded they remove the "easy stuff." Another question the 2K should also include door jams. Did they do the jams? I hope so....

no matter what as long as you are happy..I guess. Car still looks sharp in the pics.

looks like a nice paint job, very glossy for white paint, but like others have said, for over 2 grand, i would expect it to be immaculate. As long as you're happy with it, that's what's important

The pics aren't that great but it looks like a good job besides the screw ups. They're supposed to fix any overspray though, clean the car and take some nice pics Looks great, I got a maaco job a year ago for 650 (few dings) no clearcoat and no primer on the hood. ~30k later I have paint chipping from the sunroof and the spoiler. Pics:

Besides crappy prepwork maaco seems to do fine with expensive paintjob, just because they offer a low price one doesn't mean they can't do good work.

Oh and if they got overspray on anything you can use parts cleaner to take it off.

Looks good, but personally, I don't understand a $2500 paint job on a car that is only worth about $2500.
