just got my new (to me) gauges installed...

after wanting these gauges for so long i decided to just drop the cash and buy them. I absolutely love them so far, and they match the stock gauges perfectly. although it does appear that I have a bulb out, but that's an easy fix. I'll have to get some daylight pictures tomorrow, but for now:

indeed. i've spent a lot of time hunting ebay auctions for these....and spent a bit more than i'd like to admit, but it's worth it to me.

thanks. I've tried about 8 different paints trying to get the gauge pod to match the dash, but no luck yet. this is as close as i've gotten, but i'm still not happy with it. but as promised:

After driving last night, not only does the boost gauge have a blown bulb, but it's out of calibration reading about 4psi when the car is off. time to call HKS!

edit* I should also not that the gauge pod is not permanently installed yet so it looks a bit wacky.

the older HKS gauges match our cars the best.

Alot better option than cheapo gauges.

there are a few carbon fiber ones on ebay right now, but it's not the same place I got mine (which is just fiberglass).

Those HKS gauges look like they were almost made for s4's. What gauge is on the left, voltmeter?

it's ok. it doesn't fit perfectly, but nothing fiberglass ever will. it's large enough that you can bend it into shape without having to trim anything. I have no complaints except they were suppose to cut it out for the 60mm gauges and it was uncut when I got it.

7th down, left side.

If you could take a pic of the gauge pod from the top that would be awesome.

Love the setup!

I'll try and remeber to get more pics. the car is currently at my friend's house getting the enging rebuilt.

I should also state that mine is fiberglass and was a LOT cheaper than the CF one listed on the site. I think I paid $80 with shipping.

yup, more towards S4's cuz the instrument cluster has more of a darker orange compared to the S5's. =P can't beat the orange and black faced gauges though! looks good! so jealous!
