Arrow Jobs

What jobs do you guys/gals have to dump all this cash into your RX-7?

I'll go ahead; I have no sweet hookups for my car, so I save all the money I get, divide it into categories. Since I'm 17, the smaller half goes to my car and the bigger goes towards collage.

I'd like to know what this community does to pay for their car...

Maybe you should put more towards school. There is not an A in College.

Got a couple different jobs, Lowes, working in a concrete and the big ticket working as a head chef for 11 weeks in the summer at a country club (1000 a week at the club). Most of the money I make this summer will end up going into my car. No school for me till I get my bearings will probably be something to do with cars though it's turned into my passion.

us Socal guys got it alot easier, more tuning influence, ease of parts from distributors being out here, ease of 2nd hand parts, wheel selections, esp if your from teh 240sx community = great selection of wheels on those forums.

27, im a fiber optic technician, and a fabricator.

we have built cables that are inside the Hubble Telescope right now, ive built cables for the US Military, bunch of stuff for N.A.S.A., and all kinds of broadcasting cables. plus cables for broadcasting companies all around the world.

at work we also build custom broadcasting, and recording studio's, and misc custom equipment.

if the Olympics come to Chicago, you will be seeing it on TV because of cables we have built.

i have normal bills, and pay cash for everything. i have never taken out a loan to buy a car, or car part's.

21, welding barges. Pretty decent pay and they teach you how to weld. Don't have much to spend on my non-running TII with my little family going (twin daughters, 2yrs). But with my fat tax returns year by year, I'll be able to dump it on my other baby.

23, Bio medical manufacturing manager, don't have much time for my car which is my biggest problem, plus I have to move to pa in the next two weeks which means I wont have time to grab my car till I have a place secured and can bring it over. But hopefully come June I will have more time to source more parts I need and make what little repairs I have left to do.

Used to do something very similar for traditional cable assemblies. The nightvision on Apache helicopters was powered by my former employer's harness, as well as numerous missiles, aerospace applications, and hospital equipment. I had a stint in production, but moved into QA for electrical testing.

Now I work for a company that builds custom equipment for x-rays and digital image acquisition for veterinarians.

I'm 24. Broke due to student loan repayment.
