Guys I am putting fno1r-c's on my widebody vert. I have a pair of 18x 9.5 for the front on their way and I really like the look of the concave dish on the 17x10s. I want these for the rear. I would also run a bit taller of a tire to offset it and run them wider. What do you guys think?

uh, personally my thoughts are that may look jacked up... Not sure though.. any pictures of other cars with a similar setup? may also depend on the wheels design.. post up the wheel too..

17x10 might not be wide enough for a wide body, I have 17x10 fno1rc on my stock bodied coupe

Why not just run the 17s or 18s all around

I know its common to run 17's in the front and 18's in back, but not the other way around... and if your planning on running a kit, thats way to skinny. I have 9's on the front and back of my 7 and feel like I still need something bigger...

They make 18's concave too don't they? You just have to get the right width and offset....

i think with those wheels its like a high disk low disk type of deal.

still for a widebody car 10" aint enough, I think they also only sell them in flat black now dont they?

^ I just did a quick search and the biggest size in 18 I could find was 18x9.5 +12. You could definitely rock those stock body. But I think the problem is the OP wants concave in the rear but the 9.5's don't come in concave.

I would rock the 17x10 +12 all the way around on stock body but that is just me. And yes they do come in matte black now.

I thought they ONLY come in matte black now?

these are 17x10 with the deep concave on my coupe, I think they would look out of place on a widebody car, maybe with wider tires, like 315s?

+35 would be my guess if that's a 275/40 tire.

If you are gonna run that set up you can pull it off if the tires you running in the rear are
1- taller of course
2- drag radials or dot appoved slicks

if you slap on the same size of height tire on it will look weird as crap. I have seen in person these kind of set ups and its the SUPRA boys who do it.
basically it will look like this

put the 17s in the 17s in the front and 18s rear... if you leave it 17x10 +11 in the front it will hit the coilover, you need it to be negative offset to fit... spacer..

eh man. W/e works. I took the sportmax emblems off, and painted the face silver for a reason. Nobody knows even in person until they ask or I say sportmax. hahhaa

hmm. I am going to have to run a spacer for sure. I have already accepted that much. I just want the concaves in the rear and I got a deal on the 18x 9.5's. I paid 485 shipped for two with brand new tires. I really thought those had the concave shape but they dont.

I plan to run a taller tire, this having a taller sidewall will allow me to run much wider. What is the widest you guys think I can run?
