I dont know much about 2nd gens I picked up a t2 trans or what I think is a t2 trans for a 13b-rew swap into a 1st gen can someone tell me if it is a t2 trans n what series it is

Yes, the ribbed housing looks like a T2 tranny but no clue what year/model it came from.

It's an S5 tranny. The Ribs on the body of the box give it away. The closer together ones are S5, when they're further apart they're S4.

I think your last pic shows a S5 NA, not turbo, transmission.

As I said in my previous post, the bottom transmission in the 2nd picture (the one with 2 transmissions) is am S5 turbo. The top tranny in the picture with 2 trannies is an NA but the one with the ribs is turbo.
