How much for a full straight pipe exhaust from a muffler shop?

Dont let me know. Let everyone know.
Because funds are tight b/c a forum member fucked up his shipping addy and his **** got sent back to me in SC from Cali-*******-fornia (had to pay return shipping and probably have to pay to reship so he's getting a refund), i'm holding off now.
My guy with the apexi says it'll be ready when i have the cash. It all depends on what comes my way and when it comes.
I hate setbacks.

lol. Good idea. I never thought to talk to my buddies friend curtis about it. Next time i see him, i'm going to ask him. I think he works for napa or some place. Did the exhaust work on my friend elmo's sentra real cheap..... Fart can and a straight pipe with an ss header.
It's just every time i'm around them we always talk bikes, boards and girls....rarely car talk. You get burnt out on that **** after a while. People ask me how the fc is doing and i just say, "dont wanna talk about it. Starting to give me a headache." I come on here and everything is better. Haha.

Time sucks. I still have 3 weeks till I can even drive my 7. I'm waiting for all my tune-up stuff to come in. Then I'll spend another 2 weeks putting on some goodies.
At least I get to look forward to driving it again soon

my exhaust was cheap but its because my friend runs a shop..i had a custom strait pipe exhaust (about 2.25in) with a turbo universal apexi. didnt like it so i hacked it up to make it just a regular catback to stock piping, cost me 40. found i had a crack in main cat so hacked it back up to the original straight pipe with spare highflow main cat another 40. it was too loud so i then hacked the catback up and put in a turbo supra muffler in which has a 2.5 in inlet which cost another 40 lol
final exhaust....custom pre cat delete, to high flow main cat, to custom piping again, to my turbo mrk III supra muffler. its louder than a stock exhaust but quiet and low key for legal reasons

I got my exhaust done, but i wasn't able to go with the full straight pipe yet. If you guys look at the on-going montana thread, my car was broken into, but nothing was stolen (tried stealing the car). I will have it up and running again this weekend, but eventually, I may get it straight-pipped.

I would say $200ish. I paid $199.99 for mine but the Tips i got for it make up $100 of that.
Personally i love the sound and the rumble of the tips too. It is also only a 2 inch which is plenty for a dual setup on an n/a. If going single i would say 2.5 or 3 inch all the way back is more than enough.
I also zip-tied my aux ports for now seeing how im above 4000rpm most of the time anyways so i dont care about the low end that much and its nice to hit 4000rpms and get a kick in the *** from it coming alive.
Also love the coments i get on how it sounds when im driving and how loud it is.

but the thing they sayyyy is.. something about if you get a fully custom "muffler shop special" and it is TOO free-flowing, that the car may run lean and "BLOW UP"
meaning don't get them to make you a 5 inch custom exhaust pretty much.. i think there is a general rule of thumb? something like 2.5" for NA cars. and 3" for turbo fc's? just search in the tech section, you'll find a bunch of ****
