I know about the superlow jacks. I have one. The lowest jack I have seen it has 70mm clearance. Some of these cars do not have even 25mm (around 1") clearance with the sideskirts on. Its for those people I asked my question.

Custom chopped springs and many 175 pound tension zip ties holding the springs to the perches and mounts. A $10 alternative to $1000 coil overs
I used my dremel, which I already had, some 50 pound zip ties to hold them in their basic locations, and about five 175 pound zip ties on each top and bottom. There are holes you can feed the ties through to secure the springs. So a total of $10 was spent on this.

Nah, its stock suspension but its not stock height, I've been around this car since I was a wee lil kid.
Suspension sag 4 years ago it hardly would scrape the ground, now it always does, i'll take some pics later that ones a tad old I believe.

If you are familiar with the stock struts and springs you'll notice they have rubber "guides" up top with ridges that hold the spring in place. They have 4? holes on the top and bottom mounts. I fed 175 pound zip ties (very large capacity for just holding something in place) through those holes just to keep the springs from swaying or pivoting.
Besides, the worst that could ever happen is the spring will leave the mount and nothing will happen at all. Most of the cars weight is resting on the bump stops as is so it will not drop any lower. The springs are short enough to where they wont fly up in the shock tower and cause a problem. So if I lost a spring the worst that would happen is it would feel a bit bouncy on that corner for the rest of the drive.

That's a good cheap way to slam the car but is a nightmare for the stock struts. Not to mention other then lowering its not really a performance mod. Looks great on your car!

I think it performs better than the factory setup. I have no complaints. Corners great. Rides smooth unless you hit a huge dip (same goes for coilovers and lowering springs on this one...). I wasn't really aiming at looks when I did it. The stock height had too much body wobble and wheel travel. It swayed really hard on hard cornering on both of my FCs. To me, the stock springs and struts always seemed like they wanted to break traction too.
