GTUs has koni's, camber plates, etc, i aligned it with my PHONE, street tires. assume the cayman is stock.

notice the cayman is faster when its straight, but not in the turns?

 

I'm not a driving expert... far from it. But from the video I can see the Porsche was way off (most) the turns. Your view really looked like you were on it. Again, I'm not the expert, but I think you really closed in on him because your line was that much better.

 

great lines by the rx7, not so much for the porsche, i would like to see drivers switch cars and see what the chase would look like

How did you align it with your phone?

 

handy level two cabinet doors and ONE tape measure.

 

tommy ran a 2:16 with the Rx7, which isn't bad for an NA on street tires. slicks would drop it to 2:10-2:12, and then it needs more power.

i'm not sure what a cayman should run at thunderhill, but i bet off the showroom floor it should be in the 2:05- 2:08 range. so if they switched places, the cayman would run away from the Rx7, it has 100 more hp, giant brakes, and its not much heavier
