hey guys,

i have been trying to decide on paint for my s4 gxl for a while and really can't make up my mind.

i have narrowed it down to some shade of green or like somewhere along the lines of a baby blue. i would be keeping the side moldings black (s4 pride )



i was wandering how many green or baby (light) blue fc's are out there.

yea that made me lough also. the guys were all standing on the miata helping it grip lol priceless. especially since there was a truck right there

 

Mine is painted Montego Blue, same as the FD. It's both green AND blue, though neither is really the shade you're looking for.

 

i really like the montego blue, im pretty sure i've sen a pic of your fc before. not very many montego blue fc's. great color choice.

so i searched up jtp's fc's. i like his shade of green, maybe a little lighter. his light blue fc looks almost like a steel blue. i like it. has any body seen like a steel green before? i tried searching but came up dry.

lolsmileyfc, what shade of blue is your fc in those pics? it looks a little darker than a baby blue, and i love it. especialy keeping the black side molding repping the s4 love with the s5 front bumper.

i have respect for the infini IV green but way too dark in my opinion. i think dark colors hides the unique body lines of the fc.

im a sucker for bright colors on the fc such as lime green, i love it. but bright paint+loud exhaust= waaaaaaay too much attention from the guys in blue shirts.

i plan to retain the the black side molding and i want it to be visible. i guess that's part of why i don't want to paint it a dark color. i want people to see and recognize my choice for keeping it s4ish. i currently have a good condition s4 front bumper installed and a brand new never before seen paint s4 rear bumper. (i got these in a good deal). however, i have considered changing to s5 bumpers and side molding but keeping the molding black still. the s4 molding looks kinda heavy and the s5 is a little more modernized.
