Just use some aluminum round stock as a stand-off. Cheaper then buying nylon and easier to attach if you just weld it on. Notice in the pictures above they are completely welded on the out side face and ground flat and tacked on the back side. Also the angle of the bend to match the contour is about 15° if I remember correctly. Lots of work involved in making these. Your gonna have to hit a large group buy to get the price around $60. I had it figured at $125 each. And I was getting the material for free.

Proto is made . It fits quite well considering there isn't a bend as you've done fast87T2. Just need to spec out the hardware/standoffs & they'll be ready.

Looks really good. The only thing I would suggest being a fabricator is to add a few rolled beads in it for added strength.

Thanks dude!!! I really appreciate the input, your piece was really the "bench mark" while we made this

with the 0.080", it's ridgid for it's size, but definitely wouldn't hurt adding some. We've got some dimple dies, but haven't cracked em' open just yet. Quite possibly on iteration #2 haha

Thanks. I ended up doing 3 prototypes until I found the right louver tool. It's all a work in progress. keep it up just don't sell your self short on the cost. Remember shipping these is a nightmare
