Talking front bumper cut for intercooler pics

just hacked up my front bumper to fit my intercooler. and got a little more progress on the swap. going to put in the haltech tomorrow

I would like to see pics of the bumpers a few months down the road, taking away large amounts of that flimsy urethane thing looks like it would really warp later on.

I only cut a little bit of mine out.

i thought about that, and i am going to make a couple supports to keep it from getting all saggy

Yes, that was a stock bumper.

I'm going Vmount instead of Front mount though. I'm thinking about mounting my oil cooler behind the extra cutout.

Yeah, if your gonna cut large amount of the bumper out it starts to get very flimsy and should be reinforced. Mine has some FG reinforcement.

i am currently working on repainting my front bumper so hope you dont mind it looking tacky right now heh, my IC goes all the way to the top of bumper but i didnt want to cut it out..so im not getting the best airflow....something im still trying to figure out

I would rather cut as far back into the bumper reinforcement then hack up the front bumper until it looks like ***.

You should also get a front lip to help direct the air into the intercooler. Right now it looks like the air would just go under your intercooler. It won't solve the problem of only half the core being exposed to fresh air but it will help what is get more air flow.
