if you're going to use it as a "show car", at least put a clean TII motor to match that hood and a drop would make it look right. otherwise looks clean...
ps: red just stick out too much, shoulda went black on black!

Looks good, other than:
I wouldn't use a 4-pt. harness in a car without a rollcage, or a rollbar atleast. Imagine the roof collapsing on you in a rollover, and snapping your neck because your body is immobile.
Also, how is that top bar mounted? The belts look like they can slide considerably on that bar.

shotgun body kit makes it look like a older ford probe=no good..rims are pretty hidious too..yea dont put a harness in your car if it dosnt even serve a purpose aka ricer..along with a safty hazard all together..on a good note it seems to look clean all the way around and i would have saved the money from all unnesesary exterior and put it twards suspension parts..

If you have the automatic seatbelts, Mazda has a lifetime recall warranty on them. Take it to a local Mazda dealer and have it fixed.
You need a rollbar atleast to use those harnesses. Using them without is downright dangerous.
Fix those factory seatbelts in the meanwhile.

i find humor in that the title of this thread is "FC project DONE", and you're here asking for more ideas.
for one... i've NEVER seen a 4 point harness mounted like that. i don't think it's safe, and i don't think it would pass the safety inspection if you wanted to track the car.
suggestion: get seats with slits above the shoulder-line to slide the harnesses in if you don't want to replace them with the stock seat belts.
two... N/A motor with 150k on it that alone already sounds like a tired motor.
suggestion: have the engine P-ported!

overall: not a bad car at all i really like the paint!!
suggestion: get some coilovers and a nice staggered set of rims, and drop it like it's hot!!

I actually like the way it looked before the body kit, I much prefer a clean stock bodied FC compared to that look. The harnesses look out of place and the engine bay looks as if you never touched it besides a cone filter.
150K NA with rcier mods and a new clutch and your done with your project?
Why not do the suspension? Why not do something to make it drive better??? Just to much show with too little go for me. But it's got a lot of potential, just make a few crucial purchases and straighten this baby out.

The wheels have way too much offset, the bodykit is BARF, and like the others said about the harness....
I like clean lines (stock body) especially s5...
But whatever, if you like it, then roll it... personally if I bought your car I would "fix" all the stuff you did to it..

From the pics seems like ur around my age. Could be wrong tho haha. I understand you want the car to look nice and move at the same time. School and work gets in the way for me idk about you though. Ur project def isn't done and needs more work. But. Excellent body work and paint. Not a huge fan of that kit but it looks dope the way you set it up. keep the rims for winter tires and get some wheels with a lower offset. change the seatbelts or the seats.
Get a nicer intake setup like a CAI and an engine rebuild possibly with a nice street port. definitely get a complete free flowing exhaust not just mufflers. And of course suspension mods. It def has potential though keep going. And remember **** everyone else u rock what u think looks good. Unless its 110 percent rice and completely mis represents Rx-7s and the rotary crowd. thats a big NO haha.
