those are not mods lol

Mods consist of
suspension struts/shocks or coilovers
engine drivetrain upgrades * engine porting, turbos, ecu, exhaust etc
aerodynamic spoilers, etc
driver passanger restraints, seats, harness, roll cage etc
cosmetic wheels, kits , nice paint etc

Id like to say suspension should be on top of alot of peoples list, there are alot of FCs here with high horsepower builds but kind of skip on suspension upgrades. Speed kills, and gets us in trouble with the Law, so you could at least try to make your car more visually appealing and handle good.

and bucket seats

i think driving with a different steering wheel and bucket seats makes it feel more like a video game without the reckless driving of course

Short throw and a nice exhaust system. Great way to start driving around a rotary.

The only must have I can think of is exhaust. If you're stock you'll have a minimum of a precat and a main cat, or even 2 precats and one main cat if you're S4 NA. Serious restriction and by now they are worn out and/or plugged.

And if you're NA, a TURBO! Slow and show is cool for land-yatchs, not for a purpose designed performance car.

If its stock, replace cam shaft, and timing belt. These are known to wear out and if you go to mazda they get confused, and tell you it's not possible to replace! idiots.

Not possible. I remember Mazda would sell new rx7's with a 5 minute or 5 feet warranty which ever came first cause of the rotary engine.

:P To all the stupid comments [the ones that involve 8 tin cans bouncing around a box ^_-]

#1 Make sure everything works. [clean the front turn signal bulbs/sockets and put dielectric/bulb grease on the socket/bulb connector -- if you do not do this your headlight switch WILL burn out eventually!/]
#2 Upgrade to newer suspension [I like Racing Beat and Tokico blues, not too harsh for daily driving, but not sloppy like 20+yr old suspension]
#3 Exhaust [again, Racing Beat FTW]
#4 Wheels/OEM spoiler/S5 tail lights [for the S4]/NO BODY KITS!!!!!!!
#5 Decide what you want next: Paint, Turbo, maintenance, etc

Make sure all possible holes from cockpit to outside world are closed and sealed to prevent dying from the fumes
