FC with Ksports on

Just installed my Ksports. I did a quick photo shoot. Didn't even bother washing the car.

Ride height up front is the max setting and I had to trim the inner liner to get room. I'm running 235/45/17's all around on a 8 inch wheel.

Before

After

looks nice, where are the center caps for your wheels? looks like you could use a spacer for the rears

never had the center caps. I kind of like the bare look anyway.

I use to have a 5mm spacer up front but had to remove it to get wheel clearance. I may put it in the back to help make it flush.

went drifting a little last night.

Felt pretty good. The rear end seems a bit easier to step out.

I just got manual steering so keeping hold of the steering wheel has gotten harder. It wants to straighten itself out. Still gotta get use to it.

How is it riding over bumps at speed being that low? Ever hit the bump stops? What spring rates did you get (or did the come with)?

These are the Kontrol Pro's.
They came with 10.5's and 11's.

No bump stops. I have scraped the bottom of my exhaust in deep ruts. The exhaust is about 1 1/2 inches off the ground so it's the first thing to hit. Not all the time though. I think I found a decent ride height.

The bumps are pretty livable. I did hit a 1-2inch ledge/drop on a bridge and got scared for a sec but never lost control.

No front wheel rubbing as of now. I trimmed the top off of the inner fender liners and removed my 5mm spacer on the wheel which I think puts it to a 35mm offset.

very beatiful set up man...
a question about the 5mm spacer... what ET are you running?
because i´m running +38 with 8" wide with 225 tyre and my stock shocks hit the tyre wall, i mean that, if i run coilovers is it possible to remove the spacers?

was running stock springs and tokico struts before this setup.

The wheels with a 5mm spacer would clear the spring by 5mm. I had no rubbing on the fender liners/etc.
235/45/17

The coilovers have a compact spring so you can get more tire under there closer to the strut without touching the spring.

I was running the AIT front bumper but it was getting too fucked up. I know it would get destroyed running it with these coilovers. This is my drift/track car. So cones and front end damage are most likely going to happen.

I may switch to some type of front lip.

The coilo overs were Kontrol Pro's
