engine bay made up of electic tape (pics)

how much half *** can a person put into a car? i understand twisting up one wire and wrapping in tape for the time being. but not every single wire. i kid you not, every wire in the engine bay has been sliced, twisted and taped. there are wires everywhere some have no use but i am not sure which ones they are. there is plenty of missing bolts all over the engine. hoses being blocked by drill bits and rubber stoppers. not sure what hose goes to these inlets being plugged. he said the water temp sensor is from a 240sx. anyone know where the water temp is located at? ima need plenty of help with wiring, sensors, hoses and such. pictures of how some of my engine bay and engine wiring and such would be ultra great

i forgot the name of this sensor.
not sure if its the right sensor it has a misibishi emblem on it.

last pic is of the TPS sensor...its stock. some of them do have a mitsu symbol on it. i have the coolant sensor that goes on the back of the waterpump housing if thats the one you are talking about. do yourself a huge favor and find a different engine harness and starter harness.

Ooh...

+1 on getting new harnesses. That one looks like it'll be a neverending clusterfuck that will slowly drive you insane.

I'd say you have at least two full weekends of work to get that thing into semi-runnable condition.

Strip out everything you can, then clean up the wiring and start reinstalling.
Your AFM needs to be properly hung, the steering rack appears to have just been redneck "depowered" and...oh hell, the list is very long.

But doable.

Then why did you post it up? Sensors? Well a great place to start would be search to figure which ones you need with your setup. Your question was vauge.. We all figured you were bragging about the clusterfudge under your hood.

You need to plug your OMP in. It's important and the wire is clearly just hanging in the pictures.

The coolant temp switch will be a green plug on the back of the water pump. Not having this plugged in will cause the car to run bad.

The water temp sensor will be below the oil pressure sending unit on the rear drivers side of the motor.

The oil pressure sending unit is the round thing right below the oil filter.

I looked the hardest I could in your pictures, but their doesn't seem to be a pressure sensor anywhere.

Whats being held on by wire to the radiator support? It better not be the radiator.

You have some work ahead of you.

You also might want to grab a dual belt pulley or yoohoo belt before the car overheats along with some sort of fan setup. I also just noticed the radiator overflow isnt hooked up.

Good luck fixing all that.

I honestly have an 87 parts car with an intact full body harness that you can have for real cheap, hate to sound like I am being greedy but its prob your best bet and whatever I dont sell out of this car is going to the junkyard, including its rear seats.
