engine bay covers

Knight Sports product
very nice
before

after

Id really like to see this items out here, or perhaps even replicated, shouldnt be hard, make em out of fiberglass or something, would help people in strict law areas..

tho im sure it doesnt help temps at all or even make it harder to work on, but simply remove it etc.

Brilliant. Let's make it even HOTTER under that hood...

Not for me thanks. I think engine covers are pretty gay anyways and everybody at work hates screwing around with them.

You sure thats not a carbon strut\firewall brace? PanSpeed made something similar out of carbon for the FD but it didn't cover the engine this much. Theres was advertised as a strut brace.

If it was actually something functional like that more people might be interested.

*edit*
Never mind just saw your link. It does look like its just a flimsy carbon cover.

I considered making one of my own for ***** and giggles. It would be a nice addition to those who have show cars that would want to hide anything that would make the engine bay look cluttered...

Yep, it's strictly for show cars...
It would make it worse to get to stuff.
Nice, although I highly doubt it's fuctional and adds stiffness.

I have looked at that picture a dozen times now and still cant bring myself to like a single thing about it

and if your getting pulled over and a cop wants to see your engine bay that thing with its big gaping holes in it aint gonna stop him, crap you can still see clearly through the front of it and it wont help hide your exaust system which probably lacks a converter

I guess it could help hide a dirty nasty engine bay with sloppy wiring

What would be the point of this, other than to trap more heat under the engine bay.
