a while ago there was a thread on here describing instalation of the e-fan.
has any of you guys done this?
I've heard that Ford escort e-fan is a direct fit to FC, with a little modification.

I was wondering if anyone did it on the outer side, so the radiator gets air blown from both sides.

You mean a fan on both sides of the core?
Horrible idea for a variety of reasons...very inefficient, excessive current draw and (probably) worse performance than you started with.

Just say NO.

Yeah some cars put the fan in front when room is restricted *nissan 240sx guys do this when they do RB25 or RB26 swaps if I recall*
Im not sure how good that is though.

I've actually had it on my 68 merc and it was a life saver when I got stuck in traffic.
I'm not planing to replace my clutch fan with an e-fan, just to add one in front of the radiator.

Since the thread title is "efan" I just assumed it meant removing the stock thermoclutch unit, so, my bad.

I still think it's a bad idea and would first explore other options like maybe an upgraded radiator.
