Did a quick search. Little info. 300RWHP FC?
Hello all - I have done a very limited amount of research and it would appear the TII's can hold quite a bit of power over stock. I'm seriously considering a TII right now as my next toy/weekend racer. I race at the strip, Autocross and road coarse. If I can have 300 reliable horsepower at the wheels that would be PLENTY for my taste. Then it would be all up to me to set up the suspension. I'm not asking the car to be especially good as a street car or especially good as a race car. I just want it to be a decent all around ride. From what I've read it would appear all it would take is a good tune, upgraded fuel system, front mount intercooler and a turbo upgrade. However, I'm not sure where to source any of this stuff and I'm not sure how big to go with everything. I'd like to keep the turbo as small as possible while keeping it in the middle of the compressor map. Ideally I'd like to hit the number while keeping the fuel pump and injectors at or under 80% duty cycle. I'm not afraid to tune it myself, however this would be my first rotary. So would that even be a good idea? What stand alone options are there? Where is a good source for rotary tuning info? I know this is a lot, but any insight would be very much appreciated. In the mean time I shall keep doing as much research as I can.
Thanks ahead of time.
Jake

Here...
I searched "300hp" in the "2nd Generation Specific (1986-1992)" section for you.
Results:

There. Not every thread is going to say "300hp FC" or whatever... You MUST read what is inside of the threads.
You may want to search more. As I just chose a few random threads. Be careful of the advice you take, and don't believe everything you read. Research.

It's all good. There's TONS of great information all over this forum.
My advice:
1) READ, READ, READ
2) Take in as much reliable information that you possibly can.
3) And NEVER cut corners.

Ty again. Found answers to most of my questions. I think all the answers I need or am going to get. Now it's time to find a car. Need to do a bit more reading, but it would appear to be straight forward. All but the tuning that is. P.S. This would not be my first go around tuning. I've tuned a lot of Ford stuff from my 2006 GT (nearly stock) to a E85, Ford Lightning Engine powered Dragster with a 3.4 liter Whipple blower on Big Stuff 3. However, I have never even researched tuning a rotary.
