Found this pulling cars from PG county police impound in Md.

Not sure. I found out from the police there that the driver did not make it out alive. That is a pic right before I pulled it up on my tow truck.

 

Dibs on the 5-lug parts and the steering wheel (assuming there's no people juice on it).

EDIT: Steering wheel looks toast.

 

I went over 5 times in a turbo II, walked away with minor cuts and bruises. FC's are built like tanks.

Seeing pictures of that pancaked T-Vert is exactly why I immediately started shopping for Roll Bars for mine.

 

I have got a black vert too. I start talking to a buddy of mine about putting a rollbar in. This is my 5th fc but my 1st vert. Looks like im getting on the ball about it. As soon as i figure why she aint getting any spart. 6 port turbo is killing me.

 

Never flipped my vert, but built a roll bar for it.

 

I've been driving long enough to stop calling them "accidents" and instead prefer to use the term "collision". 99.9% of the time the "accident" is totally preventable and is due to human incompetence/stupidity/laziness.

 

but that .1% will bite you in the ***. my gf despises using shoulder belts and i hate it, knowing sometimes no matter how careful you are sometimes you cannot avoid some things.

ever had a deer run out in front of your car on an empty road in the middle of the night? yeah, good luck with that... now try that on a motorcycle.

i've also seen cars get clipped from behind by drunk drivers.

I've actually had the deer happen many times and because I've been paying attention, noticing when the signs say "Animal Crossing" and was taught by my driving instructor to steer first and brake only if there are no other options, I've never hit one. In fact I've been in a stupid number of collisions and all have been due to other drivers.

 

well i haven't hit a deer but i did run over a cat on one of my bikes, there was literally nothing i could do but lean back and hope the damn thing wouldn't put me into an endo.
