Completely totaled fc at the junk yard

seen this at the junkyard yesterday in wilmington, was wondering if anyone recognizes it.. it was on cut springs, had 3 different types of wheels, s5 tail lights, duckbill wing, and looked like it was rolled a few times

Looking at the shape of the passenger compartment... Reminds me why I laugh when people think driving an RX-7 is unsafe. Though.. If it happened to my car, I'd wish it were unsafe enough to kill me >_<

RIP FC.... :'(

That is exactly how I felt when we spotted that car from Across the junk yard, my friend said "daaaamn, they died!!" and felt a little bit more dumb for each step we took towards it. And when we got there and seen said "well, they were lucky I guess"

It wouldn't say they are the safest car, but apparently it's completely possible to walk away from a rolled and flipped fc, since my friend found out who's car this was, and from what he told me, he was fine

well you guys are suggesting the person abused the car.. i don't think anyone intentionally wants to experience an accident like that.

A couple years back, there was a guy on this forum who posted about rolling his convertible over, he was lucky enough to have ducked when the car went upside down. The windshield caved in flat.

My first thought, exactly.

Did you pull anything from it? Was there ANYTHING that is usable??

Driveshaft, s5 tails, duckbill wing.. Amazingly the back end was almost undamaged.. Other salvagable parts, Interior pieces were there, shifter, intake manifold, no-name cat back, 5lug swap, 4 pistons, seats, diff, and most rear suspension arms.. I might go back and grab a bunch more stuff, since I get everything for free

Agree, they call them accidents for a reason and not always something that can be avoided or the drivers fault

i know someone who rolled his FC, car looked like that (basically) and he walked away with a couple small cuts from all the broken glass.

Fc does very well in accidents!

but yea cut springs with 3 different wheels does sound like its a car from here...

I think his username was hurleysurf or something to that effect. That thread was part of the reason I had a decent 4 point rollbar made for my vert.
