which cat back should i get: APEX'I N1, GT or racing beat

my 2.5 inch downpipe and high flow cat came in today
so now i'll be buying a cat back next week. however im not sure what i should get. i had Racing beat on my N/A and loved it but now im running a 87 Turbo II. right now im leaning more towards the APEX'I exhaust but wanted to discuss it with you guys before i make a move. looks and sound are a plus on this however im also interested in good exhaust flow and possibly an HP gain.
i was hoping that maybe some of you gusy can throw in your own opinion on one of these three exhaust and also throw in some pictures of S4's with any of these exhausts. so lets see what you gusy got. based on what happens here is the path i'll take.

I chose the N1, but why not go duals? I've always loved the sound of them, but never ran them for fear of getting pulled over.
I'm currently running the Racing Beat setup, and it hasn't disappointed me so far. It's very incognito under normal driving.

I've had all three (kind of). I don't like the noise level or overall looks of a single exit pipe. Right now I have N1 Duals with a XR1 muffler as a presilencer. It is quiet, but more throaty that the overrated Racing Beat system. Only get Racing Beat if you want it to look stock and flow better. They are very quiet and very heavy exhausts albeit high quality construction.
My Gt-Spec is for sale if you decide on that model. Shoot me a pm and we can work out a deal.

yeah racing beat is good, thats what i had on my N/A but i want to let this thread run a little longer see if maybe more people can throw in their opinion and hopefully start seeing some pictures of these exhausts installed.
basically in addition to what i had already said im also looking for something that looks aggressive that isnt stupid loud, has a deep aggressive sporty tone to it

That being said, nothing comes close to the true-dual Racing Beat setup on an N/A RX-7. NOTHING. It is by far the best quality system there is. I have NEVER (personally) heard an exhaust system on an N/A other than the T/D that I thought actually sounded good.
A cheaper single-side system would be a bad idea on an N/A IMO, although the big question mark would be with the GT-spec... I'm sure it would sound good, but it might be too loud for serious consideration--no matter the quality.

pics of my n1 here, i wish it was louder though, even though my cat is gutted and precats gone

It's VERY quiet compared to the N1 or GT-Spec. It just humms during normal driving, but under WOT it'll scream. The sound however will be different for catbacks vs. full exhausts.
I've encountered many black&whites during the past year and haven't been pulled so far.

ohh crap i did not realize the N1 comes out through the passenger side. i was really hoping that it would have the outlet on the drivers side. looks like i might have to go with the GT spec.
nice to see the thread is finally getting some luv though

The can's are also kinda loud. I let my friend borrow my car to go get some lunch for us while I was working on his car and I could hear him about a block away. That's with all the cats. I can't imagine how loud it was when I had no cats. On the plus side, my gf's dad knows it's me whenever I come over and he has hearing aids. On the downside, the cops don't need hearing aids to know it's me. Although, I've never gotten pulled over for a loud exhaust. I think they are used to it by now.
The full RB system will have a deeper and throatier sound over stock during cruise and WOT. At idle, a full RB system can actually sound quieter than a good stock system. The tone is a lot deeper, so in one way it may be quieter, but you can feel/hear the tone from farther away (kind of like bass from a stereo).
I had the GT spec on my '87 Sport (NA) preceded by a BONEZ high flow cat / presilencer. It sounded awesome but didn't create enough backpressure as far as I could tell with my butt-dyno. Worked better with the silencer in the tip.
